My love for candle making began during lockdown—a time when the world slowed down, and I found myself searching for comfort and calm. What started as a small interest quietly grew into a passion, and before I knew it, candle making became something I poured my heart into completely.

I named my business Solzie Skincare & Candles after the nickname my mother gave me as a child. It holds deep meaning for me as a reminder of love, safety, and the memories that shaped who I am, especially as I lost her to cancer when I was just 15 years old. Through this brand, I carry her memory with me and honour her in everything I create.

The journey hasn't always been easy. Building a small business comes with its challenges, and living with epilepsy adds daily obstacles. Yet, through every moment of struggle, I continue to rise and conquer them.

Creating candles brings me true peace and joy. It is my escape, my therapy, and my creative outlet. Every piece is crafted with care, intention, and love—and sharing that with people who value it means everything to me.

This rebrand marks a fresh beginning, a stronger vision, and an exciting step forward as I prepare to launch my products in the first week of March. Thank you for supporting Solzie and being part of my story.
