My love for candles began during lockdown, a time when the world slowed down and I found myself searching for comfort and calm. What started as a small interest quietly grew into a passion, and before I knew it, candle making became something I poured my heart into.

I named my business Solzie Skincare & Candles after the name my mother used to call me! "Solzie" was my nickname she gave me and It holds deep meaning for me as reminder of love, safety, and the memories that shaped who I am as she passed away when I was 15yrs old from Cancer. Through this brand, I carry her with me and honour her in everything I create. The journey hasn't been easy. Building a small business comes with its challenges, and living with epilepsy has added extra obstacles that I face every day. There have been moments of struggle, but I continue to rise and conquer them, time and time again.

Creating candles brings me peace and joy. It's my escape, my therapy, and my way of expressing myself. Each candle holds a piece of me made with care, intention, and love and it means everything to share that with someone who sees value in it. This rebrand marks a new chapter for Solzie. A fresh beginning, a stronger vision, and an exciting step forward as I prepare to launch my products in the first week of March.
